A good thoughtful guy will go out of his way to get to know you when you’re first “meeting” online.
He’ll Read Your Profile
When he contacts you, you’ll be able to tell he’s read your profile. He may mention something he liked about your profile. Or he might point out something you share in common. This lets you know he’s actually read your profile and he’s interested in getting to know you.
That will feel very different from a guy who just says “I liked your profile.” He may have read it or not.
He’ll Introduces Himself
A good guy will want to make a good first impression so he’ll put some thought into what he writes. He may not be the best writer. But, a genuine, heartfelt introduction can give you a nice sense of him.
He definitely won’t copy and paste a generic message that says something like, “To learn more about me, check out my profile.”
He’ll Remembers Who You Are
A good guy may not remember everything about you or everything you tell him. But, he’ll remember your important information and important stuff you’ve shared. And if he forgets or mixes something up he won’t mind when you let him know.
If a guy can’t remember your basic information, he might be pursuing too many women. And that’s why he can’t keep his facts straight.
He Won’t Just Send You a “Wink” or a “Meet Me”
If a guy “winks” at you, there’s a good chance he’s just seen your picture and hasn’t even looked at your profile. He may not be serious about the online dating process. He may not even be looking for love.
If you want to give him the benefit of the doubt, “wink” back at him. If he still doesn’t go out of his way to get to know you he’s definitely not your guy.
